What this website collects, and what it leaves alone.
This site is a pile of pages. I want it to be obvious what happens to information here, and what does not.
I use Vercel Web Analytics. It records anonymous, aggregated page views, so I can see which pages are being read. It does not use cookies. I don’t sell personal data, and I don’t share it. I have not turned on Speed Insights.
The site itself does not set cookies. A few things can be stored in your browser, and they stay on your device. They are not sent to me.
- If you pick a theme, that choice is saved as
robgill:theme(light, dark, or yellow). Until you pick one, the site follows your system setting and writes nothing. - Links you have opened can be remembered as
robgill:hl-seen, so the highlight stays quieter the next time. - Easter eggs you find are remembered as
robgill:eggs.
If you email rob@provius.co.uk, I use that message only to reply. I don’t add you to a list.
There are no adverts, no embedded players, and no other people’s frames on these pages. When a link leaves the site, for example to Dribbble or GitHub, you are on someone else’s site, with their own rules.
